(Today’s topic: your words carry impact)
Ever heard of the phrase: “speak it into existence“?
Well exactly what does this mean to you? Is this something you are aware of? And are you applying this law into your life now?
In today’s post we are going to cover:
Why is this principle worth knowing?
Where does it derive from?
How are you “speak[ing] [things] into existence”?
Let’s start with the first point: “why is this principle worth knowing?”
To speak things into existence is for your mouth to bring forth an order spoken from your lips; which is thereby transferred and worked on in the spiritual realm.
Whatever you speak, is what you believe and is therefore set out to be released.
When you think great thoughts, you receive great outcomes. And when you think poor thoughts, you receive poor outcomes.
Now if this is so obvious, then why do some people fail to get it?
Unfortunately many are unaware of how powerful their mind is. Not knowing that the brain truly is a power source. What is stated in our words is a reflection of what is believed.
Second point: Where does it derive from?
Well if we look at the Bible, there are countless verses that bring us to this conclusion.
Taking a look first at the book of Genesis, during the beginning of creation, we see how God (the Creator) formed life through His decrees. An example of this being “and God said, ‘let there be light’ and there was light”. (Genesis 1:3, NIV)
Isn’t it interesting to have a Maker who forms things out of words? And even more interesting in knowing that because we are made in His image, we too harness such a wonderful ability?
In Proverbs 18:21 (NIV version) it reads, “the tongue has the power of life and death, and those who love it will eat its fruit.”
What this means is that whatever we speak (the words coming out of our mouth) hold the influence to build or destroy areas of our lives.
A person who speaks words of love, faith and hope sow in life whereas someone who speaks of hatred, doubt and defeat sow in death.
Always remember that your actions directly stem from the words you feed your spirit and heart. If areas of your life keep dying off, it’s time for a thought revival.
How are you speaking things into existence?
A simple “I can do this” goes a long way!
Encourage yourself and encourage others. You need to be in a position where you can deliver impact. Focus more on what’s going on in “the now” and work towards seeking and securing a life of peace daily.
What I’ve learned is that looking back holds us back from achieving growth.
So many of us are used to chaos. So many of us are used to failure. And truthfully it can be hard to see the good in something we cannot control (but hey, this is where faith comes in)!
To speak something into existence is to speak life in an area that has not yet been formed but is being established in the works of your beliefs unseen.
You don’t get things done with being unsure with yourself, you get things done by being confident in yourself.
Today I challenge you to something greater. I urge you to look at your self in the mirror or look up at the ceiling repeating these words:
No matter what past struggle, experience and/or travel I endured yesterday, today is a new day. I believe in myself and most importantly I believe in the Creator who made me. I believe in the gifting and calling placed on my life. I believe in the strength and abilities of the Spirit to lift me and make me new. I believe in the Word of God to cleanse my heart and renew my mind, body + soul. I believe in the Will of my Maker to do as is promised: delivering a life of love, greatness and productivity.
I hope this message is a blessing unto you. Please let me know in the comments how you are speaking things into existence! What challenges have you been going through? What opportunities have you been longing to grab? Share your experiences and let me know how your words have been affecting you!
I will be checking up on you so please do let me know your progress journey ❤️
