Hi loves before I get right into my post, I want to apologize for not posting Memorial Day (without any notice). I had quite the busy weekend, not to mention I was practically exhausted for most of the time. Any-who I hope you enjoyed the 3 day weekend! Whether or not you went out somewhere, I hope you enjoyed the time spent. Now back to the rant!
So today’s post is my final message on self investments. The list can go on and on, as investing in yourself is a never ending growth process. But I figured the perfect way to finish the series is to talk about producing rich thoughts.
It’s important that as individuals we understand how impactful our thoughts are. The effect in which our way of thinking has on our actions, and how this reflects the standing of our heart posture.
Your mind is your greatest power engine. What you feed it will produce either fruit or poison.
If you know me, you know I am a firm believer of speaking things into existence. You are what you speak, therefore speak carefully.
Right off the bat, you can tell which path an individual is headed to. A worrier, (someone who’s mind instantly travels to doubt, fear and distrust) will walk in destruction whereas a warrior (someone’s who’s mind is geared towards faith, vision and action) will walk in freedom.
It’s important that you identify where you stand: are you a worrier or a warrior?
- When circumstances become difficult, where do you run to?
- When judgement takes place, what field do you play?
- When life hits you hard, which plug are you connected to?
If you are one to retreat when times get hard, fighting your way against change, you my friend are in need of a reality check (been there, and can tell you from testimony + testament, that your way will only make it worse).
In order to pursue purpose, you need to become stretched. Greatness isn’t produced by ordinary works. Be ready to take up that cross, dying before you begin living.
Your pain births your purpose. I’m sure you may have heard that one…because it’s true!
Do not be someone who’s defeated when you are shot down. Do not become fearful of rejection after rejection. Do not stay buried in self pity, abandoning all efforts to get back up.
Do stomach that bullet, and rise back up. Do pray and talk yourself out of it. Do lean on God so that you are prepared for that open door to bless your life.
Stop fearing the unknown in your mind, and start recognizing the unstoppable force Whom is on your side.
First, you must believe in God! Before taking on anything in life, you must understand Him and His role as the source of all life. You must submit yourself unto Him knowing that He is the anchor of your life, nothing can prosper without Him in the midst. For it reads in His Word, “And we know that in all things God Works for the good of those who loves him, who have been called according to his purpose.” (Romans 8:28, KJV)
With God, all areas of your life will flow together. Maybe what you tried didn’t work out because it was wrong timing, or simply it doesn’t fall into His Will for your life. Never believe that God’s Love is set on condition: either you pass or you fail to receive His best. If it didn’t work out, He still has greater planned for you.
In Christ, you do not have to live in worry because you understand that as God’s child you shall not want. (Psalm 23:1) All of your emotional, physical and spiritual needs have already been provided (really think about how wonderful and almost crazy that sounds)! To serve a God who not only knows your needs but has taken it a step further to actually gather all that you need, and make it accessible. Wow!
In knowing this, you are more confident in you. You understand that because you have a God who is provider of all things, you will never walk alone. You will never have to worry that you are forsaken or lonesome. Instead, you will walk around in confidence because the day Christ got up and payed the price for our sins, we have walked since with the victory (the problem is that not everyone knows this, so they still remain stuck, bound in chains and shackles).
Whenever you face a problem, remind it how big and great your God is!
When something seems “impossible” or “too good to be true”, go for it anyway. Go for it, shoot for the stars! Because if God says yes, man’s “no” means nothing.
Personally, I’ve reached a point in my life where I do not care what someone says to me, I know what the King of Kings has promised me!
I know He’s promised my security and well being. I know He’s promised me an abundance of eternal wealth and riches. This is something I know therefore because I know (or believe), I follow.
Do not give up on your dreams because someone shot it down. Do not take advice from the hurt because of their disbelief in your success. Because as I say, do not follow the opinions of people but the instruction of God.
Speak greatness unto your life, and know that you are not meant to carry the burden by yourself. When it seems impossible, go to the One who makes all things possible. Place your confidence in God, and ask him daily to renew your mind and heart. In doing so, watch as He spreads His goodness unto everything you touch.
