God’s Love Is Enough

God I don’t love You because of the things You do for me.
I love You because you love me in spite of who I am (and use to be).

You pick me up during the lowest of lows,
and swoop me in, to keep me from falling far below.

When I think I’ve reached the impossible,
you show me that it is just an obstacle.
One that I can overcome so that I can achieve everything You make possible.

You strengthen me with Your Word,
and direct me through the Spirit so Your messages aren’t misheard.

Everywhere I go,
You are there to make it known that I am not and will never be in this alone.

Message for today:

God has a plan for you, as He does for each and every single one of us. It doesn’t matter what you have been through or what you are struggling with. You do not need to have it all together. For it is He who qualifies the unqualified. Come as you are, leaving all burdens left behind. Call unto the Lord, seeking who He is and what He desires for your life. Believe in His Healing Power, and accept the doings that His Son made on that cross. Claim victory in Jesus’s name and watch Him transform your life into all that it can be.

Verses to remember:

For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life.” (John 3:16 )

God loves you so much that His own Son was provided as living sacrifice for our sin! In what Christ has done, we are given God’s grace and mercy. No matter how much wrong we did, and still continue to do, we are judged by the weight of our heart and the intention behind our action. In this act of love, we are given a second chance to start over. Released from all binding forces, God carries any and every burden; setting us free to live a new and reformed life.

“And we know that for those who love God all things work together for good, for those who are called according to his purpose.” (Romans 8:28)

As believers, we demonstrate our faith by remaining obedient to His Word. In order to love God, you have to know who He is. By reading your Bible, praying for wisdom + strength, surrounding yourself with wise (and experienced) counsel, you will be inviting God in to release the wondrous works that He already has planned for your life. Of course, this won’t happen overnight, taking this walk day by day, seeking Him daily for the renewing of your mind and heart.

In being led by Christ, you understand that You are set for greatness. No person, no position, no set of finances can ever give you what God can. Because what He has prepared for you is not only for you to have but is connected for all of His children. Therefore, the life lessons you (will) walk through are for the greater good. Whatever you learn becomes your story that is used to help deliver someone else from their current situation.

Stay committed and focused on what He has for your life. Living on this earth, you will be able to enjoy each day by bearing fruit of the Spirit— love, joy, peace, kindness, goodness, faithfulness and long suffering (while every day isn’t a good day, you will learn to appreciate it anyway). And in the long run, you will be rewarded for your faithful diligence as God will allow you to inherit the treasures held in His kingdom.

I hope this post has been a blessing to you ❤️ May you take the time to really lean on God. Pray for the strength and courage to endure your current season. Take note of all that He tells you, and count all of the blessings both seen and unseen. God bless you!
